What is Concierge Nursing

Concierge nursing is a private, on-demand nursing service where a patient pays directly for personalized, high-touch care outside the traditional hospital system. Think of it as having a nurse available when you need them—without waiting rooms, rushed visits, or insurance limitations.

Here’s what it usually includes:

• One-on-one care: Longer visits, detailed assessments, and continuous follow-up.
• In-home services: Wound care, IV therapy, post-op care, chronic disease monitoring, medication management, etc.
• Direct access: Clients can call, text, or schedule urgently without going through a clinic.
• Customized care plans: Tailored specifically to the client’s medical needs and lifestyle.
• Privacy and convenience: Everything happens in the patient’s home or chosen environment.

It’s similar to concierge medicine, but nursing-focused—hands-on care rather than physician services.

IV Hydration

What is IV Hydration?

IV hydration is IV therapy. IV therapy is a treatment where fluids, vitamins, electrolytes, or medications are delivered directly into a vein through an intravenous line. Since it goes straight into the bloodstream, it works faster and absorbs more completely than anything taken by mouth.

What it’s used for:

  • Hydration

  • Vitamin or electrolyte replacement

  • Certain medications (pain meds, anti-nausea meds)

  • Managing chronic conditions (like some autoimmune disorders)

  • Postoperative recovery

  • In some settings, wellness drips

Why it’s effective:
The bloodstream doesn’t have to digest or filter it first, so the effects are immediate or close to it.

Who administers it:
Usually a licensed nurse or other qualified medical professional trained in IV insertion and monitoring.

How long does an IV infusion take?

The length of time for the infusions depends on what is being infused and how the client is tolerating the infusion. Most infusions are complete in 1 hour. Others can take up to 4 hours.

Are the IV infusions safe?

Yes. Each client is screened and reviewed by Dr. Moore prior to any infusions. A nurse is monitoring during the infusion.

Who should not receive an IV infusion?

Those with chronic conditions such as renal failure and CHF should not receive IV infusions. Also, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not receive IV infusions without prior written authorization from their OB.

What happens if I am not a candidate?

You will be informed of why you are not a candidate. In the event the reason is temporary, we can wait until the reason is resolved and resume care at that time. In the meantime, you can be evaluated for the other services and wellness care that is offered.
